WELCOME to my NEW SU Blog site!

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my *NEW* site. For those of you that don't know me well, I love using my creativity in any way that I can. I have loved stamping, card-making, papercrafting, scrapbooking (& basically crafts of all kinds) for many years. I was introduced to Stampin' Up quite a few years ago at a workshop held at one of my Mom's friends. It was a fun and unique experience. Anyway... making a long story short, I have attended many Stampin' Up workshops and demonstrator classes and Stamp Camps (for lack of a better name right now), and have more than 100 SU Stamp Sets (some individuals as well). My mom was a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for a while, so I enjoyed getting a discount, but then she gave it up a few years ago. Through Stampin' Up, I have enjoyed learning new tricks and techniques that I have also used in my occupation as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. What child doesn't love making a mess with art?

So, I was talking to my husband, and of course God... and of course tidying my 'craft area' at home... and there was a 'GREAT' deal on SU Demonstrator Starter Kits in November 2010, and my demonstrator friend called me to encourage me to join, because there wasn't a better offer ever. I thought about it, but looked at my 'mess' and decided it wasn't the time, but maybe God would bless me with something better if I waited. So... because I am a woman of faith, I waited and the opportunity again presented itself in a 'WOW better than ever offer' this month! I couldn't pass it up! (Thanks again Anne!) So, here I am a brand new Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator! {PS I'm still tidying my craft zone... and probably will be for a while, now that I'm a Demo. LOL!}

Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.

For me, using my giftings, talent and creativity in helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is one of the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, gift items, home decor, and other unique papercraft items are about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
