'SHOEBOX SWAP' Fun & Upline Meeting

I attended my first Stampin' Up! Upline meeting with Heather Summers... she's amazing! My upline Annie P invited me to come, and I'm glad I went. It was such fun participating in a 'shoebox swap', where you make a card, and then cut out the pieces for 5 more (5 demonstrators will get to make one in the allotted time). I chose to make an easel card, because I've seen them and never made one before. I figured by now they all had made one, as what's newer to me, isn't so new to those that have been there for years.

The picture collage above was made in Picasa, and I'm not sure if you can read the printing, but the cards on the left are the ones I made at the swap. The black one is actually in the current 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue. Since I don't have alot of the 'current' stamp sets or DSP, my Mom and I made the same design of card with stamp sets and patterned paper that we had. (some not Stampin' Up)

I can't wait until the next meeting... such fun! THANKS AGAIN Heather and your Simply Stars team! Glad to be a part of it!
